Playing at the Park

Last week I took Vera for a walk in town on one of the warm evenings.  We stopped at the park to play.  Vera was a little confused about what a park was, but she quickly learned when she saw the other kids and all of the "toys" as she calls them.  Ward Park has a really nice, fenced in play area for small kids.  It's perfect for her age.  She can climb up by herself and the slides aren't too fast for her to go down.  She had a blast.  Her favorite was the steering wheel and beeping the pretend horn.
