Friday Evening Hike

At the end of July, we were without plans on a Friday evening.  The weather was comfortable, Adam had the idea to drive to Stillwater Reserve and do a little hiking.  On the ride there, Vera, and especially Vince, were completely enthralled in the idea of going on a hike in a "forest."  Each time we passed a wooded area, Vince would shout in excitement about another forest.  haha

It turned out to be a great trip, even though we forgot the handle to our bike trailer (that turns into a stroller) so it can be pushed.  Adam was a trooper in pushing Annie through the wilderness, spending much of the hike leaned uncomfortably over the front of the carriage pushing.

Finding a walking stick was an immediate priority for Vera and Vince, so much so that they couldn't focus on taking a picture.  See below...




Throwing rocks and wading in the river was a huge hit.
