Vera's Buddy

Vera loves her cousin Blake.  A few weekends ago, he was our house guest for the weekend.  Earlier in the week, the little guy was pretty sick, and I told Vera he wasn't feeling good.  Right away she asked, "He not coming anymore?" in a very concerned tone.  She was glad when I assured her he was still coming to visit.

Vera was a little uneasy about letting him use her chair (to eat), but she was adamant that he sleep in her bed.  Unfortunately, she lost both battles.  Blake sat in her chair, and he didn't sleep in her bed.

Vera wanted to help feed Blake some supper, so I told her to give him about 4 cranberries.  This is what he ended up with.  He was excited!  I quickly put most of them back in the bag before he tried to devour all of them.

The two of them had fun playing together.  It's definitely different having two little ones around, and a boy is so much different than a girl!  Either way we love them both to pieces!
