We went Trick-or-Treating this year on two separate days. It was just too much to manage all of the stops in one day. We did Versailles' Trick or Treat on Sunday afternoon, which included stops at a few friends' houses, Patty's and Grammie and Papa's. I missed the photo opportunities with Bailey and Blaire, but here are our little goblins from that day...
First, Vera wanted to be a witch. Then she wanted to be a ballerina. A few days later she wanted to be a queen. So, we found a mixture of all three. I liked this costume because it wasn't scary and it's most appropriate for a little girl. There are plenty of years ahead to be scary, spooky and morbid.

Happy 1st Halloween to this little witch. |

And here's the ornery dragon. He loved the treat bucket. In fact, he hit his little sister in the head with it while we were attempting these pictures. |
On October 30, we went to a Grandma and Papaw's house for a loud and wild night with the Otte cousins. Everyone's costumes were super-cute!

Here's our rear view mirror on the way to Grandma's. Vinners is spitting in this picture, his latest "trick." We also moved the witch and dragon to the "way back" of the car. This arrangement is working pretty well. |
Vera also had a Halloween parade at preschool. She came home with an outrageous amount of treats. The kids were spoiled this year with lots of sweets and other treats from our families. Unbeknownst to them, mom and dad have enjoyed most of the candy! :)
